Privacy

What we collect

• No advertising cookies and no third-party trackers.
• Analytics are off by default. If enabled, we use a cookieless, aggregate-only service that records page views without identifying you.
• Questions you ask about a story are processed to produce an answer and are not stored with your IP address or any identifier. To prevent abuse we keep a short-lived, salted hash of your network address for rate limiting, which expires within a day.
• Your theme choice is kept in your own browser's storage.

Questions sent to a model provider

When live answers are enabled, the text you selected and your question are sent to our model provider together with the story's published material, under a contract that does not allow them to be used for training. In the demo edition no question leaves our server.
